SPOT LANDING COMPETITION

BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY 3rd May 2010

Start 12.00 noon

(Reserve date of Bank Holiday Mon 31st May)

The challenge will be to make 3 landings, as close as possible to the designated area.

The 1st approach will be a precision approach using full flap (where appropriate).

The 2nd attempt will be a flapless approach & the 3rd a glide approach.

Entry cost will be £5 for 1 attempt of 3 circuits as described above. (plus your normal flying costs!) Further sets of 3 attempts @ £5 may be available on the day.

Points will be awarded & there will be cash prizes for the top 3 places.

Students with an instructor are welcome.

BBQ afterwards with prize giving.

MYSTERY FLY OUT - SEPTEMBER 11/12

Due to the recent dissapointments and cost of cancelled hotels we have decided to arrange the flyout location on the Friday prior to the departure this way we can look at the weather and choose our direction accordingly like wise if the weather is not suitable we can cancel without any cost. SO PUT YOUR NAME DOWN AND BRING YOUR PASSPORT AND OVERNIGHT BAG.
